Elijah's Retreat Cabin Check-Out Policy
Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
To help us keep costs low for families, we do not charge a cleaning fee. Your assistance with basic cleaning tasks is greatly appreciated and helps keep Elijah’s Retreat running smoothly for everyone.
Scope: This policy applies to all guests staying at Elijah’s Retreat.
Cabin Cleaning Checklist
Before you leave, please help us by completing the following:
- Towels: Wash, dry, fold, and put away all used towels.
- Bed Linens: Wash and dry used linens, and remake beds.
- Food: Dispose of or take all leftover food with you.
- Dishes: Wash and put away all used dishes.
- Floors: Vacuum, sweep, and mop.
- Trash: Place kitchen and bathroom trash in the large outdoor can by the cabin.
- Toys/Books: Put away toys and books in the kid’s room.
- Bathroom: Clean the toilet, sink, and bathtub.
- Extra: If needed, you may leave the last load running in the dryer as you depart.
Late Check-Out & Cleaning Enforcement
- First Cleaning or Late Check-Out Issue: Our staff will contact you to provide guidance and note your account for future visits.
- Repeated Cleaning or Late Check-Out Issue: A $200 charge may be applied to your account, and our staff will work with you to support smoother check-outs in the future.
